However, after I put the floss in the cart I was prompted to give my information before I could determine the shipping cost. Seriously. Why do businesses do that? Do you think I’m guileless? I’m afraid you do. If you think doing so gives you an advantage over the average customer I could only say shame. Unfortunately it still shouldn’t be worth it because anyone with a milligram worth of guile will back out of the purchase and never buy anything on that site again, ever. I’ve done that to 100s of sites and never once haven’t.
Please make the shipping cost available before requiring customers to fill in their info, not that it will affect me. I’ll be buying the floss from a dental outfit i found at Amazon.com

Wow, that’s a lot of anger. I don’t think anyone is “guileless”… I think my shopping cart software sucks. That’s why I set up a new system that does NOT require info ahead of time, and actually calculates the real shipping cost (our current software requires flat rate shipping, which is typically not a bargain for something as small as dental floss).
Sorry for all the anger it caused, but I’m glad you were able to find the products you needed on Amazon and that the video was helpful.
It’d be really helpful if you went beyond how to hold floss and showed how one ought to actually use it. After years of flossing incorrectly, I was finally taught how it really ought to be done. I think a lot of people pop it in between their teeth, pop it back out, and move on to the next tooth without going below the gum line.

You’re right, and thanks for the reminder. I do believe I already wrote about it, but can’t remember anymore. Floss is best used to remove plaque from beneath the gum line. The floss should be used to gently scrape the plaque away from the each side of the tooth and below the gum line (don’t be afraid to floss under the gums… it shouldn’t hurt if you don’t go too far and if your gums are healthy).
I will try to do a video with good flossing techniques, as that’s much easier than writing it out.

I’ve been using POH dental floss for years. My teeth are tight together, so this thin, round floss really works for me, unlike the “tape” style so popular these days – those hurt my teeth and gums. I haven’t tried the micro thin floss yet, but it looks good.
Very easy to understand instructions. I never thought to floss *before* I brush. That’s a great tip!
